Frequently Asked Questions

1. How often should I clean my coffee pots?

Your coffee pots should be rinsed with tap water after each use. They should be
cleaned with Squeeky Kleen at the end of each day to remove coffee oil and bacteria
build up.

2. Is Squeeky Kleen safe to use?

Yes. Squeeky Kleen has been tested and approved by the Canadian Food
Inspection Agency for use as a coffee pot cleaner. Please see the the CFIA
link on our Home page.

3. Does Squeeky Kleen leave an aftertaste?

No. Squeeky Kleen has been specially formulated to rinse clean and not leave an
aftertaste.

4. How often should I rinse my pot after using Squeeky Kleen?

We advise rinsing your pot until there is no "sudsing" action. The Sudsing Indicator in
Squeeky Kleen is a safety mechanism that lets a person know when the pot has been
thoroughly rinsed instead of having to "guess". Usually three rinses is sufficient.

5. How does Squeeky Kleen compare cost wise to powdered coffee pot cleaners?

Squeeky Kleen is very economical to use. Less than 1/6 oz. ( 3 sprays) will clean a
standard 64 oz. coffee pot. One bottle will clean up to 230 pots. When compared to
other powder cleaners on a cost per pot basis it is up to 50% less expensive.

6. Does Squeeky Kleen clean windows?

No. Squeeky Kleen has been specially formulated to attack coffee oils and stains on
contact. The formula does not contain ammonia which is a mayor component used in
window cleaning. Please see Item 5 of our Features and Benefits link for other
cleaning uses.

7. Is Squeeky Kleen biodegradable?

Yes. Please see Section 12 - Ecological Information from our Material Safety
